Privacy notice
Effective October 10, 2026
This notice explains what personal data we use, why we need it and how you can decide about it. It is a translation of the Spanish notice (Aviso de privacidad), which prevails in case of discrepancy.
In short. We use your data to process, ship and invoice your orders and to assist you. We do not sell your data. The store does not use advertising or analytics cookies. You can access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, by writing to info@semperklin.com.

We do not process sensitive personal data. Please do not send it through any channel: we do not need it to sell to you or assist you.
3. Why we use your data
Necessary purposes
These are essential to your relationship with us:
- Register, confirm and manage your orders and send you emails about their status.
- Collect and verify payments.
- Prepare and deliver shipments, directly or through a courier.
- Issue the invoices (CFDI) you request.
- Answer questions and handle quotes, exchanges, returns and warranties.
- Create and manage your professional partner account and pricing.
- Prevent fraud and keep the store secure.
- Comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Additional purposes
With your consent, we may use your name and contact details to send you information about products, promotions, news and satisfaction surveys.
If you do not want us to use your data for these purposes, email info@semperklin.com with the subject “No advertising”, or use the unsubscribe link in any promotional email. Declining does not affect your purchases or the service you receive.
4. Who we share your data with
We do not sell or rent personal data. To run the store we work with providers that process data on Semperklin’s behalf, following our instructions and with security measures in place:
| Provider | Purpose | Data |
|---|---|---|
| Hosting and servers | Host the store, the order system and backups | All store data |
| Send order confirmations and replies | Name, email, order details | |
| Couriers | Deliver your orders | Name, phone and delivery address |
| Payment providers (banks, Stripe, PayPal or others we enable) | Process and verify payments | Payment and order details |
| E-invoicing provider (PAC) | Certify your CFDI invoices | Tax and order details |
| WhatsApp (Meta) | Assist you when you message us on WhatsApp | Number, profile name and messages |
| Google Fonts | Display the store’s typefaces | IP address and browser data |
Some of these providers have servers outside Mexico. In those cases we seek appropriate contractual and technical safeguards.
We may also disclose data without your consent where the law allows it:
- to Mexico’s tax authority (SAT) and other authorities when required by law or court order;
- to Semperklin distributors in other countries, only if you ask to be served by your local distributor, and only the data needed to assist you.
5. Cookies and storage in your browser
The store does not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. To work, it stores the following in your own browser:
| Data | Purpose | Where and for how long |
|---|---|---|
| Cart | Remember the products you added | Local storage, until you check out or empty the cart |
| Country, currency and language | Show prices and text for your country | Local storage, until you clear it |
| Last order | Show the confirmation when you finish checkout | Session storage, cleared when you close the tab |
This information stays on your device and is not sent to Semperklin until you place an order. You can delete it from your browser settings.
Country from IP address. On your first visit, the store estimates your country from your IP address to show the right currency and language. We do this with our own database on our server, without sending your IP to third parties, and we do not store the IP. You can change country and language at any time from the top bar.
If we start using analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this notice and ask for your consent where required.
6. How long we keep your data and how we protect it
We keep your data for as long as needed for the purposes in this notice and while our business relationship lasts. Afterwards we block it for the periods required by tax and commercial law (generally five years for accounting and invoicing records) or as needed to handle claims. When those periods end, we delete or anonymize it.
We protect it with encrypted connections (HTTPS), access to the order system limited to authorized staff, strong passwords, backups and administrative measures. No system is infallible, but we review these measures regularly.
7. Your rights and data deletion
You may at any time exercise your rights of:
- Access: know what data we hold about you and how we use it.
- Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Cancellation: ask us to delete your data when it is no longer needed.
- Objection: ask us not to use your data for a specific purpose.
You may also withdraw your consent or limit the use of your data.
How to make a request
Email info@semperklin.com with the subject “ARCO rights” and include:
- Your name and an email or phone number where we can reply.
- The right you want to exercise and a clear description of your request.
- Information that helps us find your data: the email or phone you shopped with, your order number or an approximate date.
- If you act on someone else’s behalf, a document proving your authority.
To protect your data, we may ask for reasonable information to confirm your identity. We will reply within the time limits set by law. Requests are free of charge.
Data deletion
If you ask us to delete your data, we will delete or anonymize what we hold in our systems. We will only keep, blocked, what the law requires us to retain, such as invoices and accounting records, and we will tell you what and why. If you have an order, return or warranty in progress, we will let you know first, because deletion may prevent us from handling it.
Messages you sent us on WhatsApp also remain in your own account and on Meta’s systems, under Meta’s policies.
If you believe we did not handle your request properly, you may contact the competent personal data protection authority in Mexico.
8. Minors
The store is not directed at minors. If we find data from a minor collected without the consent of a parent or guardian, we will delete it.
9. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice due to changes in the law, our services or our providers. The current version will always be on this page, with its date. If a change is significant, we will also announce it in the store or by email.
This notice is issued under Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.
